About MEGU:
Since the 1950s, MEGU pistons and other cast components have been used in almost all vehicles produced in East Germany (GDR). Following its nationalization in 1948, VEB Metallgusswerk Leipzig (MEGU) began producing a wide variety of goods, including pistons for two- and four-stroke engines, cast iron, steel castings, and foundry sand. MEGU supplied metal castings to the automotive industry in East Germany.
The ML MEGU brand still stands today for high-quality, durable pistons, cylinders, crankshafts, and other cast products.

Description:
ML-MEGU Aluminum (nikasil) cylinder ceries with NPC coating.
All-aluminum (nikasil - NPC coating) 2-channel cylinder 5.1HP.
- Cylinder diameter: Ø 38 mm.
- Stroke of the piston: L - 44mm.
- With bridge in the intake.
- Cylinder liner diameter: Ø 46 mm.
- Inlet: Ø 16.5mm

Operation:
For the first 200 km, a 1:33 fuel/oil mixture should be used for break-in to prevent damage to the cylinder and piston during the break-in period. We recommend using ADDINOL 2-stroke quality oils.

Important Notes:
- To ensure high durability and a long service life for ML-MEGU products, the break-in instructions must be followed.
- Before installing a new ML-MEGU piston, check the piston ring gap. The specified gap is approximately 0.2–0.3 mm.
- When installing the piston, ensure the circlips are seated correctly; otherwise, the piston, cylinder, and crankshaft will be irreparably damaged.
